No. GridCall is free and needs no account or sign-in — there’s nothing to register and no password. Just open the app and follow the schedule that affects you.
Open the event in the app, or the gridcall.app/view/… link your team or organizer shared, in the app or any browser. You’ll see the timetable in real time. Follow the events you care about to get alerts when the schedule changes.
GridCall can remind you before your next session and alert you when the schedule changes for events you follow. On first use the app asks permission to send notifications — you can change this at any time in your device settings:
To stop alerts for a single event, unfollow it in the app. Notifications are optional — GridCall works without them.
GridCall caches the latest schedule on your device, so you can keep checking the plan even with a poor paddock connection. Live updates — new heats, driver changes, race-control messages — need a connection to be delivered. When you’re back online, the app refreshes automatically.
Schedules, timetables and race-control information are provided by the event organizers and depend entirely on the data they supply and how it is entered. GridCall is not responsible for the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of organizer-published content. Always confirm critical timing with official race control.
GridCall has no account and collects no personal data — no name, no email, no location, and no advertising or tracking. The only data that leaves your device is anonymous: the requests it makes to load public schedules (our servers see your IP address to deliver them and keep the service secure), and, if you enable notifications, an anonymous device notification token for the events you follow.
To remove that token, unfollow the events, turn off notifications in your device settings, or uninstall the app. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
