1Who we are & acceptance of terms

GridCall (“GridCall”, “we”, “us”, or “the Service”) is operated by Asymptoticsolutions LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of California, United States, with its registered address at 19813 Portal Plz, Cupertino, California 95014-3367, USA. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2The Service

GridCall is a free viewer for competitive-karting race weekends. It lets you follow a live schedule — heats, sessions, driver changes and race-control messages — published by event organizers, and optionally receive reminders and alerts for the events you choose to follow. The Service does not require an account.

3Who may use it

The Service is a general-audience schedule viewer. If you are a minor, you should use it under the supervision of a parent or guardian. By using the Service you confirm that your use complies with the laws that apply to you.

4Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You will not:

• use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its systems;
• interfere with, disrupt, or place undue load on the Service;
• copy, scrape, or redistribute schedule content other than for your personal use.

5Schedule accuracy & no reliance

Schedules, timetables and race-control information on the Service are supplied by event organizers and depend entirely on the data they provide and how it is entered. GridCall does not verify this content and is not responsible for its accuracy, completeness or timeliness. The app caches the latest schedule on your device so you can view it offline, but live updates and alerts require a connection and may be delayed or missed if the organizer or your device has no signal.

You must not rely on the Service as the sole basis for time-critical decisions. Always confirm critical timing and instructions with the official race control and organizer.

6Notifications

If you enable notifications, you agree to receive schedule-related alerts for the events you follow. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings, and stop following an event within the app. How notifications work technically is described in our Privacy Policy.

7Intellectual property

The Service, including the GridCall name and logo, its software and design, is owned by Asymptoticsolutions LLC or its licensors and is protected by law. Schedule content remains the responsibility of the organizers who publish it. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose; no other rights are granted.

8Availability & changes

The Service is currently offered on an early-access basis and may change as we develop it. We may add, modify, suspend or discontinue features, and we may update these Terms from time to time. Where changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice (for example, by in-app notice or on this page). Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms; if you do not agree, you should stop using the Service.

9Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. GridCall does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that schedules, weather data, or other content are accurate, complete or current.

10Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so — this includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law (including mandatory consumer-protection rights).

Subject to the above, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, GridCall shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any decisions, missed sessions, or losses arising from reliance on information from the Service. To the extent our aggregate liability may lawfully be capped, and given that the Service is provided free of charge, it shall not exceed USD 100.

11Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The state and federal courts located in California shall have jurisdiction over any dispute, except that if you are a consumer, you retain the protection of any mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence and the right to bring proceedings there, as required by applicable law (including for consumers in the EU/EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland).

• Severability: if any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full effect.
• Entire agreement: these Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and GridCall regarding the Service.
• No waiver: our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of it.
• Assignment: you may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
• Force majeure: we are not liable for failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
• Apple & Google: if you download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, you also agree to the applicable store terms; those stores are not responsible for the Service.
